I was born in Greensboro, North Carolina, and served as a US Marine in Vietnam. I graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with an Associate of Divinity degree. I studied further at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro, North Carolina. I pastored a biker church in Kernersville, North Carolina.

For me, writing is the expression of life. Once written, the words do not change. Those words refer to thoughts and feelings of a past and now serve as a reference point for forward-thinking.
